Located in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of beautiful sunny Swansea, Wales, Ty Awen is an inclusive safe space for the community & a center for mutual aid in these challenging times.
Its purposes include:
1) Centering children & supporting all 
as we envision a world built on justice, peace & plenty
2) Increasing food security for the local community through regenerative gardening, co-operative purchases, and communal meals
3) Nurturing the local environment through litter picking, microclimate building & education
4) Promoting learning that is individualized & allows each person to achieve their highest purpose in life
5) Building local resilience to anticipate, withstand & recover from disasters
6) Re-membering Welsh myth, magic & lands
7) Co-housing space for , LGBTQ & neurodivergent.
All activities are reciprocal based whether that is money, time, services, tools or social influence. We ALL bring something to the table.
